日中は自然の光を真っ白な紙が吸収し柔らかな光を放ち、空間の中の人やそのアクティビティを包みこむ。孔や紙のスリットを介したガラスの先には都市の風景を垣間見させる。夕暮れと共にガラスが内側に反射し始め、内部の賑わいを映し出す。柔らかな紙の曲線や層が影をたたえ、まるで深い海の中にいるかのよう。連なる紙が水面のような影を落とし込む。季節や時の経過に応じて様々な表情を見せ、奥行きの感じられる空間を漂わせる。

A space with a three-dimensional curved surface cave made by large volume continuous papers is floating at a Bio-restaurant bar owned by French in Japan. Innumerable holes at the back of the cave-like space and the light coming through the many layered papers are very reminiscent of the Kyo-machiya latticework.
